Slip Cast Design
Ceramic Slip Casting is a course that introduces mold making and ceramic slip casting processes. This was a newly
developed course for students to experience industrial design approaches with clay. Students explored the following process: design a product, market and consumer research, presentation on their design and research, prototype construction, mold and slip making,
casting, glazing and firing, and critiques.
